Shawmut Welcomes New Staff Members

Shawmut Communications Group is thrilled to announce that we have welcomed six new staff members to our growing team. Thanks to the support from our new and long-time customers, Shawmut is embarking upon an exciting period of growth in our company. We are expanding our business development, customer service, technology, and mailing departments to meet increasing demand. In addition to our new staff members, we have re-aligned several of our existing roles to create a more robust data services team—taking our variable data solutions to new heights.

Danielle Giampa, Customer Service Representative
Danielle is an experienced customer service professional and production manager with demonstrated strengths in project management, pricing analysis, and sales support. Prior to joining Shawmut, Danielle spent nearly five years at Neoprint where she held roles in customer service and business development. An equestrian enthusiast, Danielle also served as the barn manager for the Bradford Equestrian Center where she managed the day-to-day operations of a 40-stall training barn.

Dana Langille, Senior Customer Service Representative
Dana has nearly 20 years of customer service experience in the print industry. Prior to joining Shawmut, Dana held senior roles in customer service with several New England printers where he had a proven track record of successfully supporting a large client portfolio. In addition to his exceptional customer service skills, he has extensive knowledge of digital, offset and wide format printing processes allowing him to fully support our client’s diverse needs.

Jay Lenox, Account Executive
Jay brings more than 20 years of business development and sales experience to the Shawmut team. He creates long-term partnerships with each of his clients to help them develop unique solutions that increase efficiency. Prior to joining Shawmut, Jay founded and managed two companies in the print and graphics communication industry which were later acquired. As a seasoned business development professional with extensive knowledge of the print industry, Jay is a tremendous addition to the Shawmut team.

Catherine Gleason, Fulfillment Project Coordinator
Catherine specializes in managing storefronts, fulfillment, and billing. Previously she spent eight years at Interactiveprint.com, a web-to-print software company which was later acquired. While at Interactiveprint.com, Catherine was responsible for all the payables and receivables as well as system enhancements. As Shawmut’s fulfillment project coordinator, Catherine assists with the development of custom storefronts as well as special fulfillment projects for some of Shawmut’s largest accounts.

Dan Looney, Director of Mailing Services
Dan has a wealth of experience in strategic planning, print production, database management, and operations. As director of mailing for Shawmut he is responsible for leading production staff, optimizing workflows, and successfully executing complex mailing programs to help clients achieve optimal deliverability rates and postal savings. Prior to joining Shawmut in 2015, Dan owned and operated his own mailing company and spent several years in real estate acquisitions for leading financial services firms.

Sam Munroe, IT Support Representative
A current student at Wentworth Institute of Technology studying computer science, Sam joined the Shawmut team to provide hands-on IT support and assist with technology development projects. Sam has a strong grasp of programming fundamentals including Java, C++, and web-based languages such as PHP and Python. Prior to joining Shawmut, he gained experience at a north shore web development firm. Shawmut is delighted to have Sam join our team and provide continued learning opportunities for his developing career.
