Shawmut is excited to be kicking off our holiday giving season by participating in PINE’s annual food drive. PINE, which stands for the Printing Industries of New England, is the nonprofit trade association serving the printing and graphic communications industry. We are a proud PINE member and delighted to participate in the 3rd annual food drive benefiting the Worcester Food Bank.
Last year, Shawmut joined other printers throughout New England and helped them deliver an incredible 220 pounds of food to the Worcester County Food Bank. This year, we want to break that record and are asking for your help!
In addition to other PINE members from across New England, we’re asking our clients to join us this year by hosting a food drive at your office. We’ll do all the work, so it’s super easy for you!
Here’s how to get involved:
#1: Send us an email to sign up.
#2: We’ll provide the collection boxes and some materials to help you advertise in your office.
#3: When the food drive ends on December 5th, we’ll come and pick up your donations and get them to the food bank.
Or if you want to get started now, download our flyer and put out a box. Just let us know so we can come pick it up for you!
We're excited to have your employees can join ours in the fight against hunger this holiday season. Together we can make a difference and ensure that PINE’s food drive is greater than ever.
Send us an email to get started.
“Our thanks go out to PINE and all the members who have made this a success year after year,” said Michael Peluso. “We’ve got awesome clients, and we hope they’ll join us in breaking the record this year.”
In addition to PINE’s food drive, Shawmut will be participating in the U. S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program. The program’s mission is to collect new, unwrapped toys during November and December each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to less fortunate children in the community. Each year, Shawmut employees are incredibly generous—and for every toy donated Shawmut will match it!
We are excited once again participate in this program and help make the holidays brighter for a child in need. If you’re in the neighborhood or coming to see us for a press check, feel free to join us and bring your donation. The toy drive will run through mid-December.
